No discomfort, no growth. No discomfort, no love. We have to be willing to experience the full range of human emotions in order to fully become what we want to become and have the love we dreamed of. It’s something I’m trying to convince myself.

Thanks for writing This Amazing piece , A friend of mine and I were discussing this issue yesterday at late night and I glad to find A writer like you articulating it well. We can't know what future holds for us , what will hurt us and if we will grief or be happy unless we experience it firstly.

This explains very well a sentiment I've been seeing grow on here, about people doing anything to avoid discomfort. We need that! We need discomfort to remember the joy of comfort, to grow strong enough to weather hard times until the storm passes.
